Antique Leather Library

For this project we curated a collection of approximately 650 antique leather books, nearly all English language literature and history.  We were brought in by the family’s interior designer and worked closely with her to select the books and then installed them personally.  The resulting library of antique leather books is warm and rich, primarily with tones of reds and browns, but with a number of other accent colors as well.

For some of the shelves, some large oversize leather books were needed and we sourced some beautiful antique oversize leather books for these shelves.  Many of the books were literary classics, as well as important histories, biographies, philosophy, and books one the arts.
