John Steinbeck is one of the greatest American writers and The Grapes of Wrath may just be the greatest American novel ever written.  We have wanted to create a set of Steinbeck in our custom jackets for some time now but we had not settled on a design.  It turned out the best idea was staring right at us – the iconic imagery from Elmer Hader’s original design for the first edition of The Grapes of Wrath.  We added our own touches and put the titles contained within each book on the front and back of each jacket in a nice classic typewriter font – a nod to Steinbeck’s screenwriting days.

This 4  book sets contains ALL of the works of John Steinbeck.

The books are brand new, published by Library of America – one of our favorite publishers as they are carrying on the tradition of publishing great works of American fiction and non-fiction in heirloom quality editions.
