This custom leather bound edition of The Catcher in the Rye can’t be found anywhere else.  It all started with a request from a customer a couple years ago – they asked for help locating a leather bound copy of the J.D. Salinger classic to give as a gift.  No official leather bound edition has ever been published so we did what we always do when somebody wants something book related that doesn’t exist – we created it!

The leather book is a brand new modern reprint of the The Catcher in the Rye that we then rebind in full leather, a classic brown leather book with gold designs and titles – it can integrate seamlessly into a collection of antique books or modern books equally well.

This text of this book is brand new from the publisher (Little Brown).  Note that this special edition is not authorized by the publisher or the estate of J.D. Salinger – our leather bindings an “aftermarket” improvement to the originally published hardcover edition.
