William Faulkner Set
Bring some of the South – specifically Faulkner’s famed creation, Yoknapatawpha County – to your shelves with a collection of his works published by Library of America. We based our design for this set around the iconic original dust jacket for Light in August, which is considered one of Faulkner’s best novels.
Vladimir Nabokov Set
Nabokov’s novels and nonfiction, from the famous Lolita to the autobiographical Speak, Memory, are brought together in this three-volume Library of America set. Our jacket design is a nod to Nabokov’s lifelong devotion to collecting and studying species of blue butterflies.
Kurt Vonnegut Set
Vonnegut is a singular figure in American literature, and his countercultural writings, which brilliantly blend satire and science fiction, produced some of the most original work of the 20th century. This 4-volume set from Library of America features a colorful design inspired by the first edition cover art of Breakfast of Champions.
John Updike Set
John Updike has inspired reverence from literary critics and the public alike for more than half a century. To recognize his work, we’ve collected 4 volumes of his fiction published by Everyman’s Library and Library of America. Updike’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “Rabbit Angstrom” tetralogy is here, as well as The Complete Henry Bech and many of his short stories. Our custom jackets feature a contemplative photo of Updike by the sea, a portrait of a writer who so accurately captured elements of our own inner dialogues, in more beautiful language than we could ever muster.
George Orwell Set
We’ve brought together several of Orwell's works in this collection of volumes published by Everyman’s Library, with a custom jacket design inspired by two symbols related to Orwell’s literary imprint: the ominous Big Brother and vintage TV test patterns.
John Irving Set
We’ve collected 3 of John Irving’s best books, beautiful clothbound editions published by Modern Library, and designed custom jackets that feature a photograph of Phillips Exeter Academy. This is a must-have for Irving fans, or any readers who want to experience the work of one of the most talented authors alive today.
James Joyce Set
Joyce’s experimental prose set the standard for Modernist writing. Our Joyce collection includes 3 volumes published by Everyman’s Library. We designed custom jackets that feature a modern take on the author’s portrait, with crisp type and strong lines.
Truman Capote Set
Including all of Capote’s major works of fiction, short stories, and essays, this set – published by Modern Library with custom-designed covers from Juniper Books – features an iconic image of the author set against a colorful presentation of his name, a fitting tribute to his mesmerizing tales.
Toni Morrison Sets
Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning novelist Toni Morrison’s vivid characters and stories take readers on a journey through the American experience of the 19th and 20th centuries. Juniper Books’ custom jackets feature an illustration of a tree with birds starting to take flight – a tribute to the extensive symbology Morrison deploys in many of her novels.
Toni Morrison Portrait Set
We commissioned Denver based street artist Detour (Thomas Evans) to create a portrait of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning novelist Toni Morrison so that we could adapt it to jackets for this set of seven of her works that so vividly portray the Black American experience of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Maya Angelou Sets
Maya Angelou touched the hearts and souls of millions through her poems, memoirs, plays, films, and her civil rights activism. Juniper Books’ custom jackets feature an illustration inspired by Angelou’s classic autobiography, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Each book in the set is a hardcover edition published by Random House or Modern Library.
Maya Angelou Portrait Set
We commissioned Denver based street artist Detour (Thomas Evans) to create a portrait of Maya Angelou for us that we then adapted to jackets for this set of her letters, poems, memoirs, and plays. We think Detour’s portraiture is a perfect fit.
