We’re thrilled to present another literary cocktail recipe by our friend, cookbook author/photographer Erin Gleeson. This one is the perfect antidote to a wuthering wind.
The Brontë Flame
- 1 oz Campari
- 2 oz Seltzer or Club Soda
- a dash of Angostura bitters
Stir and serve over ice, garnished with fresh pomegranate seeds and a bit of romance. Serves 1.
After several years of working as a food photographer in New York City, Erin Gleeson moved to a cabin in the woods in Northern California where she created The Forest Feast food blog and cookbook series which fuse her love of cooking with her own photography and watercolor paintings. Inspired by local ingredients she creates simple, mostly-vegetarian recipes that are full of fruits and vegetables. Her recipes are presented as visual diagrams that are simple to follow and are easy enough for a weeknight, yet impressive enough for a party. Erin also has a line of Forest Feast stationery and gift items which feature her artwork and a new entertaining-focused cookbook called The Forest Feast Gatherings.
We are excited to have joined forces with Quarterlane and to bring their wonderful work to the Juniper Journal. This post was created by their team and we hope you enjoy it and their other content!
