American Landscape Set

American Landscape Set

$295  |  AML8

Utilizing Boulder based artist Chris Huang's ability to create a design that reached back into the ages for cultures of all kinds, we curated an 8 book set of contemporary novelists whose family roots can be traced across the world while they represent the current American landscape.

We Write, We Rise

$350  |  RHWW8

We partnered with Denver-based artist Kimothy Joy to create this set of 8 female authors whose novels, short stories and memoirs exude female power through their own artform. Across the spines is Kimothy’s modern interpretation of the iconic WWII poster of “Rosie the Riveter”.

In Living Color Book Set

In Living Color Book Set

$195 $146.25  |  ILC5

Denver-based street artist Detour’s work inspired us to create this set of 20th Century African-American literature which, in turn, inspired him to create the portrait of Phillis Wheatley, (America’s first published African-American female writer in 1773) that we’ve used for the set’s jackets.

Toni Morrison Portrait Set

$250  |  RHTM7-DT

We commissioned Denver based street artist Detour (Thomas Evans) to create a portrait of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning novelist Toni Morrison so that we could adapt it to jackets for this set of seven of her works that so vividly portray the Black American experience of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Chronicles of Narnia Set

$195  |  HCNA7

Juniper Books’ custom jackets feature an original painting by the artist Detour (Thomas Evans) of Aslan, the Great Lion; a central figure in the works who is said to have created the land of Narnia and is the only character to appear in all 7 volumes.

Maya Angelou Portrait Set

$195 $146.25  |  RHMA5-DT

We commissioned Denver based street artist Detour (Thomas Evans) to create a portrait of Maya Angelou for us that we then adapted to jackets for this set of her letters, poems, memoirs, and plays. We think Detour’s portraiture is a perfect fit.
