In a special collaboration, our design studio partnered with Denver-based artist Detour (Thomas Evans) to create these exclusive custom book jackets. Juniper Books’ custom jackets feature an original painting of Angelou by Detour (Thomas Evans) – a Denver-based artist. Founder Thatcher Wine had seen the street murals and iconic portraits Evans painted around the RiNo neighborhood of Denver, including ones of Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Tupac Shakur, and immediately knew he wanted to collaborate with him for our Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou sets. Learn more about this design and our collaboration with the artist, Detour, on our blog
